Free Patriotic Movement Chief, MP Gebran Bassil, wrote today on his 'X' platform account: 'On the day of liberation, a tribute to the spirit of every Lebanese who was martyred for Lebanon, and to every resistance fighter who protects our land, and an affirmation of Lebanon's right to resist against any aggression or occupation...." He added, "Protecting our homeland occurs through preserving the elements of our strength for our country, and only for our country, and by fortifying national unity through reviving constitutional institutions, most notably the presidency of the republic.'
