Brussels, Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo announced his resignation on Monday, in a customary move following parliamentary elections in Belgium. King Philippe accepted De Croo's resignation, who stated that his coalition government would continue its functions as a caretaker government until a new coalition is formed.
