Abu Dhabi:Brazilian technology company ALTAVE is highlighting its artificial intelligence (AI) solutions aimed at boosting industrial safety and operational efficiency in the oil and gas sector at ADIPEC 2026 in Abu Dhabi.

According to Wam, Thales Silva, MENA Account Executive at ALTAVE, stated that the company's technology employs real-time video analytics to detect potential hazards, monitor workers' risk exposure, and enhance safety management for both offshore and onshore operations.

ALTAVE, founded by engineers from Brazil's Aeronautics Institute of Technology, operates in 11 countries. Its solutions are deployed on over 90 vessels, 28 drilling rigs, and 39 other industrial sites. The technology is designed to help operators identify dropped-object risks and monitor critical areas, ensuring consistent safety standards across offshore fleets.

Silva emphasized the company's existing customer base in the UAE and the significant potential for further business opportunities in the region. He also noted the growing ties between the UAE and Brazil, with São José dos Campos hosting several advanced technology companies, some acquired by the UAE's EDGE Group.

Participation in ADIPEC offers ALTAVE the chance to connect with national oil companies, drilling contractors, and other industrial operators, while also fostering relationships with current customers and exploring new business prospects. ADIPEC 2026 is taking place in Abu Dhabi from November 2nd to 5th.
