Maitha Al Shamsi, Executive Director of the Community Empowerment Sector at CDA, stated that senior citizens and People of Determination are integral to the community. She further noted that reassurance stems from sincere human interaction and cohesive family units that support emotional well-being. The CDA continues to share awareness messages to help families respond calmly and thoughtfully to various developments.
The CDA also publishes materials for families on supporting children, People of Determination, and senior citizens both psychologically and behaviorally. These resources stress the importance of maintaining calm, managing news exposure, and fostering positive family dialogue to enhance household security.
In addition, the CDA organized a virtual session titled 'Managing Emotions to Support Families,' aimed at raising community awareness and offering practical guidance to families. The session provided tools to help families maintain psychological balance and affirmed the role of the family as a safe and reassuring environment.
