Abu dhabi: The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) announced that tropical cyclone 'Shakhti', currently situated in the Arabian Sea, is not expected to affect the UAE and is projected to weaken into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.
According to Emirates News Agency, the NCM stated that the cyclone is currently centered in the western Arabian Sea, with wind speeds ranging between 60-70 km/h. The cyclone is anticipated to move southeast to east at a speed of 25-55 km/h as it diminishes into a low-pressure system.
