Geneva: The DIHAD Sustainable Organisation has formalized a significant partnership with the G20 and G7 Health and Development Partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the 2025 H20 Summit in Geneva. This strategic agreement aims to enhance international collaboration in humanitarian, health, and education sectors. The summit, co-hosted by the World Health Organization (WHO), took place from June 19 to 20 and focused on developing resilient and innovative health systems worldwide.
According to Emirates News Agency, the summit, themed 'Reimagining Partnerships and Building Back Public Trust in Global Health,' gathered senior policymakers and health leaders to discuss ways to improve global health systems. The event highlighted the necessity of public-private partnerships and explored strategies for integrating health and development into future G20 agendas.
Amb. Dr. Abdulsalam AlMadani, Chairman of DIHAD Sustainable Organisation, participated in a high-level roundtable at the summit. He emphasized the importance of parliamentary diplomacy for restoring community trust and translating global commitments into actionable national policies. Eng. Khaled Al Attar, Director General of DIHAD, contributed to the closing session by advocating for integrated solutions to health disparities.
The MoU signed by DIHAD and the G20 and G7 Health and Development Partnership outlines a shared commitment to support each other's initiatives in humanitarian, health, and education sectors. It also paves the way for sustainable development projects and joint programs. This agreement was signed in the presence of Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, WHO's Director-General, and other key figures, marking a step forward in cross-sectoral cooperation.
Alan Donnelly, Executive Chairman of Sovereign Sustainability and Development, expressed that the MoU would significantly enhance efforts to address global health priorities. Eng.
