Dubai Airshow 2025 Unveils Comprehensive Conference Programme to Propel Aerospace Innovation

Dubai: Dubai Airshow 2025 has announced the agenda for its extensive conference programme, aimed at stimulating ideas, addressing industry transformations, and accelerating progress in the aviation, space, and defence sectors. The event will occur from 17th to 21st November at the Dubai Airshow Site within Dubai World Central, featuring over 350 expert speakers who will deliver more than 90 hours of live content across 12 dedicated tracks.

According to Emirates News Agency, the 2025 edition introduces six new tracks to meet the pace of transformation, covering smarter maintenance and turnaround strategies, digital breakthroughs in airline and airport operations, emerging cybersecurity challenges, the latest airport technologies, inclusive workforce development, and a dedicated 'Future Flight: Powered by Women' programme, developed in collaboration with the International Aviation Women's Association (IAWA).

Paul Griffiths, CEO of Dubai Airports, highlighted the significance of the Dubai Airshow 2025 in bringing together global aviation leaders during a time of industry redefinition. Griffiths expressed pride in Dubai Airports' role in hosting the Airport and Airline Keynotes, contributing to developing a vision for a future built on innovation, sustainability, and new models of global connectivity.

For the first time, Dubai Airports will host the Airport and Airline Keynote Track, spotlighting influential leaders in global aviation. Notable speakers include Paul Griffiths, CEO of Dubai Airports; Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airline; and Tony Douglas, CEO of Riyadh Air.

Ivan Bassato, Chief Aviation Officer at Aeroporti di Roma, emphasized the Dubai Airshow's role as a premier global stage for aerospace innovation. Aeroporti di Roma will showcase its vision in Advanced Air Mobility (AAM), highlighting its subsidiary UrbanV's leadership in vertiport development.

The UAE Space Agency will return with a two-day Space conference, focusing on sustainability, security, and innovation in orbit. The event will explore space advancements, offering fresh opportunities in the growing downstream sector.

Brian Cobb, Chief Innovation Officer at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG), acknowledged Dubai Airshow as a launchpad for partnerships that fuel economic growth and transform global connectivity. CVG will showcase advancements in passenger experience, airport technologies, sustainability, and Advanced Air Mobility.

The conference will also feature a two-day Sustainability track focusing on the future of greener skies, exploring cutting-edge aircraft, cleaner fuels, and supportive policies for a net-zero aviation future.

Timothy Hawes, Managing Director of Informa Markets, described the Dubai Airshow 2025 conference as a vital platform for ideas and innovations shaping the next decade and beyond of aviation, space, and defence.

The inaugural MRO track will delve into fresh technology, evolving business models, and growth opportunities, offering attendees practical strategies for immediate application. The Academy Stage will address themes like cyber risk, tech innovation, and workforce inclusivity, while the 'NextGen Leaders' series will engage students and young professionals.

Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) will be a focal point, examining technologies, policies, and partnerships transforming perceptions of flight. Sessions on Passenger Experience will explore how aviation can better serve travellers with smoother journeys and smarter services.

Adam Goldstein, Founder and CEO of Archer Aviation, expressed excitement about participating in the Dubai Airshow, highlighting Archer's leadership in shaping the future of mobility. Archer plans to showcase its flight test programme and the Midnight aircraft during the event.
