Dubai: Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, one of the three chambers under the Dubai Chambers umbrella, has successfully wrapped up its global roadshows in collaboration with Dubai World Trade Centre for the upcoming Expand North Star 2025, recognized as the world's largest event for startups and investors. The chamber will host this landmark exhibition at Dubai Harbour from 12th-15th October.
According to Emirates News Agency, the campaign spanned 16 cities across nine countries, including Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Portugal, Singapore, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Vietnam. During these visits, the chamber connected with representatives from over 2,000 digital startups and more than 215 ecosystem stakeholders, such as venture capital funds, digital business incubators, and pertinent government entities.
The meetings aimed to identify collaboration and partnership opportunities to attract digital companies to Dubai, while also emphasizing the benefits of participating in Expand North Star 2025. Organised by Dubai World Trade Centre and hosted by Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, the event aims to unite the world's leading startups, innovators, investors, entrepreneurs, and digital leaders to explore Dubai's growth potential and contribute to the digital economy's future.
The roadshows included presentations on Dubai's competitive edge and comprehensive support for digital startups eyeing expansion into the emirate. They also featured pitch competitions where winners in each city earned a fully sponsored opportunity to participate in Expand North Star 2025.
Additional competitions provided a chance to qualify for the final stage of the Supernova Challenge, the region's largest startup pitch competition, scheduled as part of the exhibition. Expand North Star 2025 enhances Dubai's reputation as a global hub for entrepreneurs and digital companies, offering a platform for innovation and collaboration with influential players from the global technology landscape.
