Paris: EDGE, a global leader in advanced technology and defense, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CS Group, a specialist in tactical communication solutions and part of the European tech giant Sopra Steria. This MoU marks the beginning of a collaborative effort on an advanced tactical communications project.
According to Emirates News Agency, the agreement was formalized at the International Paris Airshow 2025, with signatures from Waleid Al Mesmari, President of Space and Cyber Technologies at EDGE, and Pierre Lopez, CEO of CS Group. The partnership aims to integrate an operational command system with a tactical data network to create a world-class sovereign solution.
Leading the collaboration will be EDGE's Space and Cyber Technologies Cluster, which will work closely with CS Group to co-develop cutting-edge technologies. This initiative is part of a broader strategic effort to bolster multi-domain digital battlespace capabilities.
The MoU represents a significant step in EDGE's mission to innovate and produce ultra-secure communication systems. These systems are designed for armed forces, governments, and businesses that require reliable and highly secure communication solutions in the most challenging operational environments.
