EHRDC and CDA Collaborate to Boost Emirati Employment in Dubai

Dubai: The Emirati Human Resources Development Council (EHRDC) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Community Development Authority (CDA) to enhance employment opportunities for Emiratis in Dubai. This partnership aims to increase their contribution to the emirate's economic and social advancement.

According to Emirates News Agency, the agreement was formalized by Abdullah bin Zayed Al Falasi, Director-General of the Dubai Government Human Resources and Deputy Chairman of the Emirati Human Resources Development Council, and Hessa bint Essa Buhumaid, Director-General of the Community Development Authority.

This MoU signifies a commitment to empowering national talent in Dubai through the development of targeted programs and initiatives. It aims to foster collaboration among government entities and create inclusive job opportunities for Emiratis across all sectors.

Abdullah Al Falasi highlighted the partnership's role in transforming leadership's vision into initiatives benefiting Emiratis. He emphasized the importance of creating institutional partnerships that open professional opportunities. The initiative also seeks to enhance community councils as hubs connecting job seekers with employers.

Hessa bint Essa Buhumaid noted that this partnership is a strategic step in institutional collaboration for community empowerment. It aligns with Dubai's vision of building a cohesive society. The collaboration is expected to launch impactful initiatives that meet community members' aspirations and ensure their empowerment.

The MoU aims to enhance the integration of Emiratis into the workforce through career guidance, training, and tailored employment pathways. It aligns with CDA's strategy to improve citizens' quality of life and economic participation, supporting Dubai's long-term development vision.
