Emirates Agriculture Conference and Exhibition to Launch in Al Ain, Celebrating Agricultural Innovation and Heritage

Al ain: Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the second edition of the Emirates Agriculture Conference and Exhibition 2026 will commence tomorrow at ADNEC in Al Ain. Organised by the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE), this significant event aims to fortify the UAE's agricultural sector in alignment with the country's sustainable food security goals.

According to Emirates News Agency, the event provides a vital platform for Emirati farmers, facilitating market expansion, showcasing their products, and establishing connections with leading food industry companies, investors, and innovators. Attendees will have the chance to explore the Farmers' Market, featuring a wide array of fresh crops and locally produced goods, emphasizing the high quality of UAE's agricultural produce.

The Farmers' Market will also emphasize products from Emirati women farmers, junior farmers, beekeepers, and dates traders. The exhibition will feature a Livestock Breeders' Tent, complete with live livestock, aquaculture, and an auction area.

Hajar Bakhit Alketbi, Director of Government Communication at MOCCAE, described the event as a national statement and an invitation for the community to reconnect with the legacy of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who emphasized the importance of agriculture in the nation's development. Alketbi stressed the event's role in increasing agricultural awareness and bridging generational gaps within the community, advocating for agriculture to be embraced as a national culture.

Alketbi extended an invitation to families and community members to participate in the event at ADNEC Centre Al Ain, highlighting it as an opportunity to witness innovation in the agricultural sector and support the vision of promoting Emirati products.

The exhibition is organized across four strategic tracks: the 'Farmers Track,' which supports local producers; the 'Community Track,' which engages families through interactive workshops; the 'Educational Track,' which promotes dialogue on food security among students; and the 'Business and Young Entrepreneurs Track,' which encourages startups in agriculture.

The conference programme will feature expert discussions on pressing issues in the agricultural sector, starting with the 'Role of Data and Artificial Intelligence in the Agricultural Sector' on the first day, and concluding with the UAEU forum on 'Agricultural Sustainability and Food Safety.'

The Emirates Agriculture Conference and Exhibition offers a comprehensive and inclusive platform for all segments of the community, promising a memorable and educational experience in Al Ain.
