This effort aims to elevate their status and ensure their presence in international racing and events.

The race is divided into four stages. The first phase covers 35 kilometers, marked in blue, followed by a mandatory 50-minute rest. The second stage spans 25 kilometers, marked in yellow, with a 40-minute rest. The third stage is 20 kilometers, marked in red, followed by another 40-minute rest. A veterinary examination of participating horses was conducted on Saturday to ensure compliance with race conditions. Horses must be six years or older, with a maximum pulse of 65 beats per minute. Riders must weigh at least 60 kilograms, including the saddle.

Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the EAHS, expressed gratitude to H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his directives to organize an endurance race specifically for Arabian horses. He emphasized that this initiative is part of His Highness’ ongoing support and interest in purebred Arabian horses, aiming to enhance their global presence and expand their base worldwide.

Sheikh Zayed highlighted that the Arabian endurance race reinforces the high status of Arabian horses, encouraging preservation of rare breeds, and drawing attention to their qualities such as strength and endurance. He hopes this initiative will open new opportunities for Arabian horse owners, breeders, and trainers, fostering honest competition and enhancing the UAE’s ability to innovate more activities in this field.
