Dubai:Emirates NBD has announced its role as the Premium Banking Partner and Ecosystem Partner for the Future Sustainability Forum at the upcoming Dubai FinTech Summit 2026.
According to Wam, through its participation in these events, Emirates NBD aims to emphasize its dedication to innovation and its ambition to shape the future of banking, focusing particularly on AI leadership. The Dubai Future Finance Week, held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, is scheduled from November 2 to 6, 2026, and will host various forums and summits across the global financial ecosystem.
The Dubai FinTech Summit 2026, to be held on November 2 and 3 at Madinat Jumeirah, will bring together leaders, innovators, and policymakers to discuss developments in the FinTech industry. Emirates NBD plans to showcase its goal to be the leading AI-driven bank in the region. This will include highlighting their measurable business impact, scalable AI deployment, and strategic FinTech partnerships. Their inclusion in the Evident AI Index further underscores their leadership in AI maturity among global banks.
As the Premium Banking Partner, Emirates NBD will feature a stand with live podcast recordings and panel sessions. Neeraj Makin, Group Head of Strategy, Analytics and Venture Capital, will participate in a panel on 'The Future of Finance,' discussing market fragmentation and the scaling of venture partnerships. Senior executives will also engage in discussions on software engineering, AI integration, and retail banking's transformation through AI. Additionally, the bank will sign Memorandums of Understanding with leading FinTech companies to further collaboration.
Emirates NBD’s recent acquisition of RBL Bank in India positions it to enhance FinTech innovation between India, the UAE, and the MENATSA region, facilitating digital transformation across borders. Miguel Rio-Tinto, Group Chief Digital and Information Officer, emphasized the bank's commitment to advancing innovation responsibly and building leadership in AI-enabled banking.
As the Ecosystem Partner, Emirates NBD will support the Future Sustainability Forum, which focuses on the intersection of finance, sustainability, and climate-aligned capital allocation.
