Dubai: The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation PJSC (Empower) has approved a proposal to distribute cash dividends amounting to AED437.5 million for the second half of 2025. This decision was made with a quorum of 85 percent of the company's paid-up share capital in attendance. The dividends, equivalent to 4.375 fils per share or 43.75% of the company's paid-up capital, will be distributed to shareholders as per Empower's dividend distribution policy.
According to Emirates News Agency, the AGM was chaired by Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and attended by CEO Ahmad Bin Shafar, along with other board members. The meeting saw shareholders approve various items on the agenda, including the ratification of the company's performance report and financial statements for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2025.
Empower reported record revenues of AED3.42 billion and net profits of AED1.004 billion for 2025. The company's profits before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization rose to AED1.65 billion, showcasing strong profit margins achieved through operational efficiency. Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer emphasized this financial success as a testament to Empower's robust operational strategies.
Ahmad Bin Shafar highlighted the company's inspiration drawn from the continuous progress and development journey of Dubai, underscoring its commitment to expansion and growth aligned with the emirate's vision.
