JERUSALEM: Israeli extremist Knesset member Yehuda Glick Tuesday led the colonists' storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque. Local sources said that dozens of colonists stormed Al-Aqsa from Bab al-Maghariba in successive groups, led by Glick, amid tight protection from the Israeli occupation police. The colonists carried out provocative tours in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa, performed Talmudic rituals in the eastern region, and listened to explanations about the alleged temple. The occupation forces imposed strict measures around the mosque and the Old City, targeting Jerusalemites with attacks and obstructing their movement. Every day, except Friday and Saturday, Al-Aqsa is subjected to colonizers' incursions, in the morning and evening periods, in an attempt to change the status quo and to divide it.
