Dubai: The Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) met today with a commercial delegation from India, led by Dr. Mohan Yadav, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, to explore cooperation between the private sectors of both countries in key industries such as manufacturing, textiles, and the automotive sector.
According to Emirates News Agency, both parties confirmed their commitment to enhancing economic partnerships through the Arab-Indian Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture. This collaboration aims to boost trade exchange and encourage joint investments. Humaid Mohammed bin Salem, Secretary-General of the FCCI, highlighted the UAE's appeal as an investment destination due to its advanced infrastructure, economic legislation, and business-friendly environment, along with the variety of investment opportunities available.
He urged Indian enterprises to consider the UAE market for potential collaborations with Emirati businesses, assuring them of the FCCI's and its member chambers' dedication to supporting cooperation between business leaders and investors from both countries. The meeting also covered the potential signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the FCCI and the Madhya Pradesh Development Authority. This MoU is intended to enhance institutional cooperation, knowledge exchange, and communication in areas of mutual interest.
