The onset of a raging torrent has been observed in the Al-Assi River basin, posing immediate concerns along the route from Hermel to northern Bekaa regions. Meanwhile, water levels continue to rise, sparking apprehension for the safety of thousands of tons of fish stock within farms lining the riverbanks, as well as tourist establishments.
