A joint coordination committee linking Kuwait and Gulf Arab neighbor Saudi Arabia held a new round of talks on Monday, which produced three fresh agreements aiming to keep bilateral relations on an upward trajectory. The talks, presided over by Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya and his Saudi counterpart Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud, delved into bilateral relations and the progress ties have seen across a myriad of fields, said a foreign ministry statement. Kuwait and Riyadh, amid the session, clinched a memorandum of understanding dealing with the mutual recognition of seafarers' certificates, in addition to another pair of similar agreements over environment conservation and diplomatic cooperation, respectively, added the statement.
