Abu dhabi: Dr Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Diplomatic Advisor to the UAE President, said that Sudan's tragic civil war must come to an immediate end.
According to Emirates News Agency, in his official X account, Dr Gargash stated, "The country (Sudan) was pushed toward the abyss when both warring parties overthrew the civilian government." He emphasized the importance of addressing Sudan's unity and expressed concerns about the re-emergence of Muslim Brotherhood influence in the region.
Dr Gargash outlined the necessary steps for Sudan's recovery, urging an immediate ceasefire and accountability for atrocities by both parties. He also called for unrestricted humanitarian access and a credible transition to an independent civilian government, highlighting these as critical measures for the nation's future stability and peace.
