GHADA AYOUB TO LEBANESE GOVERNMENT: FOR COMPENSATING INNOCENT, DEFENSELESS CIVILIANS

Member of the "Strong Republic" Parliamentary Bloc, MP Ghada Ayoub, wrote today on her social media account: 'In the name of the Lebanese people, and as representatives of the entire nation, we submitted a question to the Lebanese government about the legality of its decision to pay aid worth $20,000 to the families of martyred combat fighters from the pockets of the Lebanese (budget reserve), resulting from a war decision to support Gaza and Hamas that it did not take as stipulated in Article 65 of the Lebanese Constitution...while emphasizing the necessity of solely compensating innocent and defenseless civilians.'
