Global Council for Tolerance and Peace and Georgian Parliament Seek Stronger Collaboration

Abu dhabi: Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Jarwan, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, engaged in discussions with Shalva Papuashvili, Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, to explore avenues for enhancing cooperation and coordinated efforts in promoting tolerance and peace.

According to Emirates News Agency, the discussions underscored the significance of expanding parliamentary partnerships and backing initiatives that aim to foster a culture of dialogue, coexistence, and peace at both regional and international levels. Shalva Papuashvili expressed his support for the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace's global efforts and praised its initiatives.

Al Jarwan expressed the Council's willingness to collaborate with the Georgian Parliament in advancing the ideals of tolerance and peace within the region and globally. The meeting was held alongside Al Jarwan's participation in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC) in Georgia. During the session, Al Jarwan highlighted the need for strengthening parliamentary and regional collaboration to tackle global challenges, emphasizing that tolerance and peace are crucial for achieving security, stability, and sustainable development.
