Abu dhabi: Chaired by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ministerial Council for Artificial Intelligence and Development convened at Qasr Al Watan to evaluate plans for integrating Agentic AI within Federal government operations. The Council's agenda focused on assessing the progress and future steps for adopting advanced AI solutions across various sectors in the UAE.
According to Emirates News Agency, the Council delved into the implementation timeframe, objectives, and execution tracks for the AI transformation initiative. Discussions highlighted proposed projects aimed at enhancing government operations, business strategies, corporate governance, cybersecurity, and other critical sectors by leveraging AI technology.
The Council also reviewed findings from studies on the progress within national sectors. These studies addressed developments in the labor market, strategic reserves of essential commodities, and other strategic issues. In terms of legislative affairs, the Council examined regulatory updates and amendments related to the residency and visa system, government services, and human resources.
Furthermore, the meeting considered requests from the Federal National Council regarding Emiratisation policies in the private sector and health insurance. The Council reviewed recommendations on higher education admissions, scholarships, traffic safety, data regulation, and initiatives to enhance the UAE's competitiveness and family structure protection.
