Global Police Leaders and Experts Set to Convene in Dubai for World Police Summit 2025

Dubai: Dubai Police has finalised preparations for the World Police Summit 2025, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The summit will commence next Tuesday at the Dubai World Trade Centre and will run for three days, bringing together police leaders, law enforcement agencies, global experts, and prominent international organisations to discuss the future of policing and global security cooperation.

According to Emirates News Agency, the announcement was made during a press conference by Dubai Police, which included participation from Brigadier Dr. Saleh Rashed AlHamrani, Deputy Director of the General Department of Excellence and Leadership; Lt. Col. Dr. Rashid Hamdan AlGhafri, Deputy Director of the General Department of Forensic Evidence and Criminology for Administrative Affairs; and other key officials and partners. Brigadier AlHamrani emphasized the summit's role as a leading international platform for discussing future policing strategies, aiming to foster global law enforcement cooperation.

This year's event, themed 'Beyond the Badge: Envision the Next Era of Policing', will feature over 300 speakers and experts addressing emerging security challenges and exploring innovative solutions. The summit aims to enhance community safety and develop policing capabilities in alignment with technological advancements. It reinforces Dubai's position as a central hub for international security cooperation, encouraging knowledge exchange and building strategic partnerships to tackle global challenges, notably in cybersecurity, organized crime, and AI in policing.

The event's growing prominence is highlighted by significant visitor numbers, with past editions attracting over 17,000 visitors and expecting a 25% increase this year. The summit will expand its conference tracks from seven to twelve, and the World Police Summit Awards have seen a 200% rise in nominations, underscoring the importance of recognizing contributions to safety and integrity.

Brigadier AlHamrani also announced three new zones at the summit: the Academic Zone, Startup Zone, and Demonstration Hub, each designed to enhance community security and showcase real-world policing scenarios. Lt. Col. Dr. AlGhafri outlined the summit agenda, including workshops and panel discussions on police leadership, advanced technologies, and law enforcement innovation. Notable international organizations such as INTERPOL, Europol, and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime will participate.

The summit's exhibition will be the largest of its kind in the region, featuring over 170 exhibitors specializing in security solutions and cutting-edge technologies. The event continues to be a premier global platform for discussing community safety strategies, showcasing the latest in artificial intelligence and policing innovations, and promoting international cooperation.

The World Police Summit 2025 serves as a platform for strengthening public and private sector collaboration, enhancing law enforcement capabilities, and empowering future police professionals through training and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
