Abu dhabi: The Global Rail 2025 exhibition and conference has officially commenced at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi, attracting a wide array of regional and international participants. This significant event, which will continue until 2nd October, features the involvement of over 20 ministerial delegations, alongside senior leaders from both the public and private sectors. Attendees and speakers at the event represent more than 100 nationalities, highlighting the global interest in the future of transportation and connectivity.
According to Emirates News Agency, the 2025 event is themed 'Driving the Future of Transport and Global Connectivity,' and aims to bring together leading figures and experts in the transport sector to foster cooperation and innovation in mobility, logistics, and infrastructure. The gathering is set to provide a platform for strategic dialogue, showcase various projects, and facilitate the exchange of technical expertise among participants.
The event is expected to draw more than 20,000 international visitors over its three-day duration. The exhibition spans four halls and features participation from over 200 companies and brands across 14 sectors, including infrastructure, rolling stock, digital innovation, finance, and smart mobility. Notably, more than 70 companies are making their debut at the exhibition, joining over 11 national rail operators, further underscoring the significance of the event in the global rail industry.
