Gold prices retreated from all-time highs on Monday, after rising on Western cash flows and optimism about a US interest cuts, as investors prepared for minutes from the Federal Reserve's latest policy meeting to clarify the extent of the cut. Spot gold was steady at USD 2,514.03 an ounce, after hitting an all-time high of USD 2,531.60 on Tuesday. US gold futures rose 0.1 percent to USD 2,551.80.
