Caretaker Minister of Public Works and Transportation, Ali Hamieh, has left for the Dominican Republic to attend a meeting organized by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). The meeting aims to enhance the utilization of aviation sector capabilities, reflecting Lebanon's commitment to international standards related to public safety and air navigation within the airspace of Beirut's Rafic Hariri International Airport. During his visit, Dr. Hamieh is scheduled to hold meetings with the Secretary-General of the organization, Juan Carlos Salazar, its President, Salvatore Sciacchitano, and many other participating counterparts from member states.
