In an issued statement on Sunday, the IATA responded to the recent article published by the British newspaper, "The Telegraph", stating the following: "It has come to our attention that The Telegraph in the UK, in an article published on June 23rd titled "Hezbollah Stores Missiles and Explosives at Lebanon's Main Airport," included a quote attributed to an "unnamed IATA source." This quote is completely false and misattributed. IATA has not made and will not make any comments on the situation at Beirut airport. We have no involvement in the political or security situation in Lebanon and would never comment on such matters. IATA alerted the Telegraph to the error and the newspaper has since updated the article, removing IATA's name." Source:National News Agency - Lebanon
