International Charity Organisation’s Eid Al-Adha Campaign Reaches Out to 90,000 Families Inside, Outside UAE

Abu Dhabi: The International Charity Organisation (ICO) has provided 15,000 sacrificial animals as part of its 2025 Eid Al-Adha campaign. The initiative benefited 90,000 families of orphans and low-income households both inside and outside the United Arab Emirates. Dr. Khalid Abdulwahab Al Khaja, Secretary-General of ICO, stated that their efforts this year reached 20 countries, targeting remote and marginalised communities suffering from harsh conditions. He noted that the distribution of 15,000 sacrifices reflects the donors' trust in the organisation and embodies the true spirit of giving.

According to Emirates News Agency, the campaign was strategically aimed at distributing the sacrificial animals in a manner that ensures the maximum number of beneficiaries. The organisation has a longstanding commitment to addressing the needs of vulnerable populations during significant occasions, such as Eid Al-Adha, a time marked by charity and compassion.

The ICO's initiative is part of a broader strategy to support underprivileged communities worldwide. By focusing on orphaned and low-income families, the organisation aims to alleviate some of the difficulties faced by these groups, particularly in regions experiencing extreme hardship. The campaign is a testament to the effective collaboration between ICO and its donors, whose contributions make such widespread support possible.
