Israeli colonists attack Palestinian farmers in Masafer Yatta south of Hebron

HEBRON: Israeli colonists attacked this evening Palestinian farmers in the Masafer Yatta area, south of Hebron, and prevented them from plowing their land. According to local sources, a group of colonists attacked farmers while they were plowing their land; which is threatened with seizure by the Israeli occupation. The occupation forces, who protected the colonists in their attack, closed off the area and declared it a "closed military zone", and detained several farmers, after assaulting them and thoroughly searching them in a humiliating manner. The colonists continued, under the protection of the occupation forces, to pursue farmers in all communities across Masafer Yatta, with the aim to take over more land for the benefit of colonial expansion.
