JERUSALEM: Israeli occupation bulldozers Tuesday began demolishing a building under construction in the town of Beit Hanina, north of occupied Jerusalem. Local sources reported that the occupation forces began early in the morning demolishing an eight-story building under construction, adding that it's owned by local resident local resident Farid Abu Zahariya. Large forces from the occupation army were deployed at the site, simultaneously with crews from the occupation municipality demolishing the upper floors of the building with bulldozers. Eyewitnesses said that the occupation forces began demolishing the building, each floor of which has an area of 300 square metres, since 6:00 A.M, noting that demolition process is still taking place until now. Palestinians in occupied Jerusalem say they are forced to build without permit because the Israeli municipality rarely issues permits to the city's original Palestinian citizens as a way to reduce their number by forcing them to leave it and find accommodation and work elsewhere.
