Washington: Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority, engaged in significant discussions with key Trump Administration officials in Washington, D.C., from April 23 to 24, 2025, focusing on UAE investment plans. According to Emirates News Agency, the meetings were part of ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperation and advance shared strategic objectives between the UAE and the United States. Al Mubarak's visit follows up on the initiatives addressed during the official visit of H.H. Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Adviser, to Washington, D.C., in March. These initiatives aim to deepen the UAE-US economic relationship and significantly increase the UAE's investments in the US economy, specifically in sectors like artificial intelligence, advanced technology, infrastructure, industry, and energy. During his visit, Al Mubarak met with several prominent US officials, including US Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent, US Secreta ry of Commerce Howard Lutnick, US National Security Advisor Michael Waltz, US Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff, Special Advisor on Artificial Intelligence and Digital Currencies David Sacks, Principal Deputy National Security Advisor Alex Wong, and Deputy Director National Economic Council Nels Nordquist.
