Abu Dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, welcomed a delegation from the Family Business Council - Gulf (FBCG), which was led by Sheikha Hind Suhail Bahwan, Chairman of FBCG. The meeting took place at the Majlis of His Highness the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi at Al Bateen Palace.
According to Emirates News Agency, the discussions centered around the vital role of family-owned businesses in contributing to economic and developmental initiatives. They also explored strategies to enhance the business environment, aiming to support the growth of these enterprises and their expansion into new markets and international arenas.
The meeting was attended by several dignitaries, including H.H. Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Mohamed bin Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan; and Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan. Other notable attendees included sheikhs, senior officials, business leaders, and local dignitaries.
The Family Business Council - Gulf is a non-profit organisation founded in 2012 in the United Arab Emirates. It is the regional affiliate of the International Family Business Network and is dedicated to supporting the continuity and success of family businesses in the GCC. The organisation provides a platform for knowledge sharing, capacity building, training programmes, and leadership development.
The Council's efforts are also directed towards strengthening the competitiveness of family enterprises and empowering them to scale their business models across regional and global markets.
