Kuwait Air Defences Intercept 15 Hostile Drones Amid Iranian Aggression

Kuwait city: Kuwait's Ministry of Defence announced on Saturday that it had detected and dealt with 15 hostile drones in the past 24 hours. Some of these drones targeted Kuwait International Airport, resulting in significant damage to the radar system, though there were no human casualties. Colonel Staff Saud AlAtwan, the Ministry's official spokesperson, shared this information during a media briefing on current developments and operational events amid the Iranian aggression on Kuwait.

According to Emirates News Agency, the Kuwait Fire Force (KFF) announced on Saturday that its teams, supported by the Kuwait Army, National Guard, and the oil sector, have successfully extinguished a fire in fuel storage tanks at Kuwait International Airport. The fire, which was triggered by the hostile drone attacks, lasted for 58 consecutive hours. Brigadier Mohammad Al-Ghareeb, Director of Public Relations and Media and official spokesperson for the Kuwait Fire Force, confirmed during a media briefing on the latest field developments that the damage was limited to material losses, with no human casualties reported.
