Abu dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, received a phone call from Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait. During the conversation, Sheikh Jarrah Al-Sabah condemned a terrorist plot aimed at undermining national unity and stability in the United Arab Emirates. He affirmed Kuwait's full solidarity with the UAE and support for all measures taken to safeguard its security, stability, and sovereignty.
According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed gratitude to Sheikh Jarrah Al-Sabah for Kuwait's supportive stance and solidarity with the UAE. He emphasized the deep-rooted, historic fraternal relations between the two countries. H.H. stressed the UAE's firm approach and uncompromising stance in confronting terrorism and extremism in all forms, categorically rejecting any attempts to undermine state security, stability, or sovereignty.
H.H. underscored the importance of strengthening international cooperation and multilateral action to eradicate the roots of terrorism, cut off its sources, and reinforce security, peace, and stability at regional and international levels. He affirmed that terrorism and extremism deviate from the essence of human values fundamental to building prosperous societies. The UAE will continue to be a global model of tolerance, coexistence, and cultural diversity, fostering a society where over 200 nationalities live in safety and harmony, promoting peace, openness, and human dignity.
The phone call also addressed overall developments in the region, regional updates, and efforts to enhance international peace and security.
