LimX Dynamics to Launch Advanced Robotics Pilots in Abu Dhabi by 2026

Abu dhabi: Jesse Liu, CFO and Director of Global Operations at China's LimX Dynamics, revealed at the Bridge Summit 2025 that the company plans to launch its advanced robotics pilots in Abu Dhabi by 2026. The summit served as a platform for LimX Dynamics to display its latest advancements in AI-powered humanoid robotics.

According to Emirates News Agency, Liu emphasized that the company views itself as an 'embodied AI' platform rather than a typical robotics manufacturer. He highlighted the favorable environment in the UAE and the Middle East for deploying cutting-edge robotic solutions due to the region's openness to advanced technologies.

Liu anticipated that the company's pilot applications would initially be launched in locations such as shopping malls, restaurants, or service facilities in Abu Dhabi, with plans for expansion in subsequent years. He asserted that humanoid robots would become a stable and reliable workforce as they mature, indicating that this future is closer than many might think.

The robot presented at the summit is a full-size humanoid model, a category produced by only a few companies globally with high levels of stability, flexibility, and intelligence. Liu explained that the company is working on systems enabling robots to learn in a human-like manner through reinforcement learning and simulation, allowing them to acquire new skills and perform tasks more precisely.

He concluded that the next phase of development will target enhancing the operational intelligence of robots, enabling them not only to execute programmed movements but also to understand their surroundings and respond to diverse real-world scenarios. This will lay the groundwork for their practical use in industrial and service applications.
