Jakarta: An earthquake measuring 5.7 magnitude struck near the Indonesian island of Java on Tuesday.
According to Emirates News Agency, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre reported that the quake occurred at a depth of 138 kilometres. The seismic activity was monitored closely, and information was relayed to concerned authorities to assess any potential impact on the region.
