‘Make it in the Emirates’ Concludes with New Industrial Projects Valued Over AED 11 Billion


Abu Dhabi: The fourth edition of Make it in the Emirates, the UAE’s premier industrial platform, concluded today at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre after a four-day run. Held under the theme ‘Advanced Industries. Accelerated’, the event was hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT), organized by Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company Group, and held alongside strategic partners the Ministry of Culture, Abu Dhabi Investment Office, and ADNOC.



According to Emirates News Agency, the event drew broad participation from local and international stakeholders and featured innovative showcases by leading industrial and technology companies and pioneering innovators. Spanning 68,000 square meters of exhibition space, this year’s edition was the most expansive and comprehensive, attracting over 122,000 visitors and participants – more than 20 times the number of attendees at the third edition.



Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, highlighted the transformative impact of the UAE’s industrial sector, attributing its success to the leadership’s vision and support. He noted that the fourth edition achieved unprecedented success, emphasizing the sector’s role in economic diversification and sustainable development. The platform, he stated, is vital for creating economic value, improving productivity, generating employment, and building resilient infrastructure.



Humaid Al Dhaheri, Managing Director and Group CEO of Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company Group, expressed pride in hosting the event, which facilitated strategic dialogue, partnerships, and investment opportunities. The event’s strategic themes over its four days included shaping the future of manufacturing, national value creation, smart manufacturing, and youth-driven industries.



More than 187 agreements and MoUs were signed, focusing on localizing supply chains and technological know-how transfer. MoIAT alone signed 24 MoUs with various entities, reflecting a commitment to a competitive industrial environment. The event announced new industrial projects valued at AED 11 billion, with participation from over 720 institutions across 12 strategic industrial sectors.



The MoIAT signed an agreement with national banks for AED 40 billion in financing over five years, supporting enterprises and projects. Emirates Development Bank launched the Emirates Growth Fund, a AED 1 billion investment platform for SMEs in strategic sectors. The event also featured the Make it in the Emirates Awards, recognizing achievements in the industrial sector.



The National In-Country Value (ICV) Program recorded AED 168 billion in industrial procurement, with new agreements signed. The Global Startup Exchange Program was launched to connect UAE and international startups. ADNOC committed to channeling AED 200 billion into the national economy over five years.



The ‘Industrialists’ Career Fair’ attracted over 3,000 young Emiratis, offering 1,200 job opportunities. The event emphasized youth involvement, entrepreneurship, and the intersection of innovation and industrial transformation. The announcement of Made in the Arab World – UAE Edition further highlighted youth engagement in industrial growth.



The fourth edition was supported by a range of partners, including investment, sector, enablement, and financing partners. The event achieved record satisfaction levels, well above global benchmarks, and attracted significant media attention. Planning for the fifth edition, scheduled for May 2026, is underway, aiming to build on this year’s success and reinforce the UAE’s role in global industrial growth.
