Istanbul: His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, made a significant visit to the SAHA EXPO 2026, Trkiye's leading defence and aerospace exhibition, held from May 5-9 at the Istanbul Expo Centre. This visit was part of His Highness's working trip to the country.
According to Emirates News Agency, during his tour of the exhibition's pavilions, Sheikh Mansour examined the latest advanced defence technologies and systems presented by various participating companies. He received briefings on key innovations and advanced solutions in unmanned systems, artificial intelligence, and defence manufacturing, emphasizing their importance in bolstering security and defence capabilities to meet the rapid advancements in this critical sector.
His Highness underscored that specialized international exhibitions such as SAHA EXPO are crucial platforms for enhancing cooperation, exchanging expertise, and showcasing the latest global developments in defence industries and advanced technologies. He noted the UAE's active participation, which mirrors the vision of the country's leadership to cultivate partnerships and develop an advanced defence ecosystem through innovation, knowledge transfer, and technology localisation.
Sheikh Mansour commended the extensive participation and high level of organization at the exhibition. The UAE pavilion prominently featured participation from leading national companies, showcasing the latest advanced defence technologies and systems across various fields, underscoring the significant progress made by the UAE's defence industries.
SAHA Expo is acknowledged as one of the foremost specialized events globally in the defence, aerospace, and aviation sectors. It serves as an international platform that brings together major manufacturing companies, decision-makers, experts, and specialists worldwide, alongside conferences and panel discussions that highlight the latest global trends in defence and advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and advanced military manufacturing.
