UAE National Weightlifting Team to Compete in Asian Championship in India

Abu dhabi: The UAE Weightlifting Federation has announced that the national team will participate in the Asian Championship, which is set to be held in Ahmedabad, India, from May 9th to May 17th. The federation has confirmed that the delegation, led by Sheikha Al Kaabi, a Board Member, will depart tomorrow. Accompanying her will be Rashid Khalaf Al Mazrouei, also a Board Member and the team's administrative representative. The team consists of three male athletes, Moayad Al Najjar, Ezzaddine Al Ghafeer, and Isa Rajab Al Balushi, along with one female athlete, Zahra Al Hashemi.

According to Emirates News Agency, Sheikha Al Kaabi stated that the national team has completed its preparations for the championship. The team is aiming for the best possible results following progressive preparation stages in recent times. Sheikha Al Kaabi expressed confidence in the athletes' abilities to face the new continental challenge and showcase their advanced levels.

The UAE team is striving to achieve new records and secure top positions, aligning with the team's ambitions. Sheikha Al Kaabi highlighted that this championship represents a significant stage for the national team as they gear up for upcoming international commitments.
