‘MoFA Dialogues: Voices of Influence’ Hosts Bill Gates

Abu dhabi: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted Bill Gates, Co-Founder of Microsoft and Chair of the Gates Foundation, as part of the 'MoFA Dialogues: Voices of Influence' initiative. Gates shared insights on innovation and technology's role in shaping the future, alongside his philanthropic efforts in health, education, and agriculture. According to Emirates News Agency, the discussion was led by Badr Jafar, Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Business and Philanthropy. The 'MoFA Dialogues: Voices of Influence' is a series of panel discussions organized by the Ministry's Strategic Communication Department and the Office of the Special Envoy, featuring influencers and global leaders from various fields. These discussions aim to exchange perspectives, delve into regional and international developments, and explore topics relevant to the UAE's foreign policy, economic leadership, advanced technology, and artificial intelligence. The UAE is notably focused on investing in emerging and futur e-oriented sectors, particularly advanced technology, reflecting its vision of supporting strategic investments and securing a prosperous future for youth and future generations. The technology and AI sectors receive substantial national attention, with more than 40 national projects, legislation, initiatives, and international agreements approved to attract top companies, talent, and investments. This strategic approach is designed to position the UAE as a leader in global technological innovation over the next two decades. The UAE's commitment to AI investment highlights its dedication to reinforcing its status as a global partner in technological advancement.
