Abu dhabi: Omar Obaid Alhesan Alshamsi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, received a copy of the credentials of Tobias Tunkel, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the United Arab Emirates.
According to Emirates News Agency, Alshamsi extended his best wishes to Ambassador Tunkel for success in his new role. He emphasized the UAE's commitment to enhancing cooperation with Germany to benefit the shared interests of the two countries and their populations.
Ambassador Tunkel expressed his appreciation for the UAE's prominent regional and international status under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He conveyed his eagerness to further develop and strengthen bilateral relations in multiple areas.
