Fujairah: H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, emphasized the importance of enhancing institutional work systems and adopting excellence frameworks as essential drivers for comprehensive and sustainable development. This was highlighted during a meeting with Sulaiman Al Kaabi, Director of the Fujairah Government Excellence Programme, and his team at the Crown Prince's Office in the Emiri Court.
According to Emirates News Agency, the Fujairah Crown Prince underscored the ongoing support of H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, for the programme's initiatives. These initiatives aim to empower national talents and promote sustainability in government service quality, aligning with the UAE's vision for global leadership across various sectors.
During the meeting, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad was briefed on key initiatives and projects for 2024-2025 by the programme. These included Fujairah Government's attainment of ISO certification in innovation management, the issuance of new governmental procedural guides, leadership development efforts, and the launch of a digital system to automate stages of governmental excellence.
The meeting also reviewed the outcomes of field visits conducted by the programme team to government entities across the emirate. These visits aimed to assess institutional performance, encourage best practice adoption, and identify improvement and development opportunities.
H.H. Sheikh Mohammed praised the programme team's efforts and emphasized the need to continue enhancing institutional partnerships to advance the excellence framework. He called for achieving tangible results to improve customer satisfaction and boost service efficiency.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, Director of the Office of H.H. the Crown Prince of Fujairah.
