Fujairah: H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, met with Sheikh Saeed bin Suroor Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, at the Emiri Court to discuss the emirate's economic development.
According to Emirates News Agency, the Crown Prince emphasized the significance of fostering a comprehensive developmental environment in Fujairah, ensuring sustainable economic and investment growth across various sectors. He highlighted how these initiatives align with national strategies and long-term development goals.
H.H. Sheikh Mohammed expressed the commitment of H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, to enhance the emirate's economic infrastructure. The focus is on promoting public-private partnerships and launching innovative initiatives to boost economic sustainability and the UAE's competitiveness on regional and global stages.
During the meeting, the Crown Prince was briefed on key projects and initiatives by the Chamber aimed at empowering entrepreneurs and supporting SMEs. He also reviewed the Chamber's future plans to expand trade and open new investment avenues in Fujairah.
The meeting included a presentation of the Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry's 2024 Annual Report, which outlined significant local and international participations that have bolstered commercial relations and attracted investment to the emirate. The Crown Prince praised the Chamber's ongoing efforts, underscoring the need to continue working in line with strategic visions that align with Fujairah's long-term aspirations.
