Mohammed bin Rashid Attends UAE Flag Day Celebration at DIFC

Dubai: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, attended the UAE Flag Day celebration at The Gate Building in Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). The ceremony was organised by Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office, in collaboration with DIFC.

According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid highlighted that the UAE flag stands as a symbol of pride, dignity, and progress. He emphasized that the nation's development is a result of the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, along with the support of the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, continuing the vision of the Founding Fathers.

Sheikh Mohammed spoke about the legacy of the UAE's Founding Fathers, the late Sheikh Zayed and the late Sheikh Rashid, stating that the values they established are the foundation of the Union. He stressed that national progress relies on every individual's responsibility, expressed through their work, conduct, and achievements.

He also remarked on the ongoing nation-building efforts under President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's leadership, with the UAE flag symbolizing unity and progress. The flag inspires citizens to excel in various fields, serving as a testament to the enduring legacy of Zayed and Rashid.

The UAE Flag Day, launched in November 2013 by Sheikh Mohammed, is celebrated annually on 3rd November. It honors the flag as a symbol of sovereignty and national pride, celebrating the nation's progress and development.

Marking the start of the National Month campaign, the UAE Flag Day runs from 3rd November until Eid Al Etihad on 2nd December 2025. The campaign aims to commemorate national occasions, inspire pride in the nation's journey, and provide an opportunity for UAE citizens to express loyalty to its leadership.
