Muslim Council of Elders Condemns Attack on Student in Hannover

Hannover: The Muslim Council of Elders, led by His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, condemns the terrorist attack that resulted in the death of Rahma Ayat, an Algerian student, in Hannover, Germany.

According to Emirates News Agency, the Council is urging the immediate formation of a global strategy to combat racism, extremism, hatred, and Islamophobia. They emphasize the need for decisive action to establish legislation that criminalizes such acts of terrorism while promoting dialogue, tolerance, coexistence, and mutual respect.

The Muslim Council of Elders has extended condolences to Rahma Ayat's family, praying for her soul to be enveloped in mercy and for her family to find patience and solace during this difficult time.
