Nvidia to Resume H20 GPU Chip Sales to China

Beijing: Nvidia announced plans to resume sales of its H20 artificial intelligence chip to the Chinese market. The company has unveiled a new model designed to comply with regulatory requirements specific to China.

According to Emirates News Agency, Nvidia is currently in the process of filing applications with the US government to restart the sales of its H20 graphics processing unit (GPU) to China. The company anticipates receiving the necessary licenses soon, as stated in their announcement.

Nvidia expects to commence deliveries shortly after obtaining the licenses. The company expressed confidence in the process, noting that the US government has assured them that the licenses will be granted, paving the way for the resumption of deliveries in the near future.

CEO Jensen Huang is set to hold a media briefing in Beijing on Wednesday during his attendance at a supply chain expo. This marks his second visit to China this year, following a trip in April where he emphasized the significance of the Chinese market for Nvidia.
