Nahyan bin Mubarak Highlights UAE’s Global Tourism Vision at Arabian Travel Market

Abu Dhabi: Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, attended the 32nd edition of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2025 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. This event serves as a significant platform for the tourism industry, drawing over 2,800 exhibitors from 166 nations and anticipated to attract more than 55,000 visitors from the travel and tourism sector. According to Emirates News Agency, Sheikh Nahyan was greeted by senior officials and event organizers. His visit commenced at the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi pavilion, where he received updates on the emirate's cultural, heritage, and tourism initiatives aligned with the UAE's ambition to be a global hub for tolerance and cultural diversity. Sheikh Nahyan proceeded to the Emirates Airline pavilion, where he met H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group. He was briefed on the airline's latest passenger experience innovations and international expansi on plans. His tour continued at the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism pavilion, highlighting Dubai's tourism strategies supporting the 'Dubai Economic Agenda D33.' This initiative aims to enhance the city's status as a global tourism and business destination. At the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia pavilion, Sheikh Nahyan explored developments under the 'Saudi Spirit' programme. The national strategies aim to transform Saudi Arabia into a leading sustainable travel destination, leveraging its natural and cultural resources. Further, Sheikh Nahyan visited the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority pavilion. He learned about Sharjah's efforts to promote its cultural and environmental heritage, positioning it as a hub for cultural and family tourism in the region. Sheikh Nahyan also explored pavilions of regional and international hotel groups, observing hospitality trends and sustainable guest experience innovations for modern travelers. On the occasion, Sheikh Nahyan stated, "The UAE's continued success in the tourism sector reflects the ambitious vision and leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Their guidance has established the UAE as a global tourism destination." He expressed his pleasure at participating in the international event, underlining the UAE's dedication to fostering international cooperation and developing tourism as an economic pillar and a channel for promoting tolerance and cross-cultural dialogue. Sheikh Nahyan praised the innovative initiatives showcased by global participants, noting their commitment to a sustainable and innovative future for tourism. He expressed confidence that the exhibition would significantly influence the future of regional and global tourism. Concluding his visit, Sheikh Nahyan commended the Dubai World Trade Centre organizers for their exceptional execution of the prestigious international event, enhancing the UAE's image globally. The Arabian Travel Market thi s year is themed 'Transforming Travel Through Entrepreneurship,' focusing on cross-border and cross-sector collaboration to create a more inclusive and sustainable travel industry. The exhibition features the Global Stage, the Future Stage, and the Business Events Stage, dedicated to exploring the current trends and challenges in shaping the future of the travel and tourism industry.
