Abu Dhabi: Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence and Honorary President of the Future Rehabilitation Centre, officially inaugurated the new Inclusive Library at the Centre's campus in Abu Dhabi. The event highlighted a national commitment to inclusive education and community empowerment.
According to Emirates News Agency, the inauguration was attended by Khaldoon Al Mubarak, Managing Director and Group CEO of Mubadala Investment Group, Mohammed Abdul Jalil Al Fahim, Chairman of the Future Rehabilitation Centre, and various dignitaries, educators, and staff. During the ceremony, Sheikh Nahyan emphasized that the library represents a collective commitment to building a society that equips every individual to contribute meaningfully to the nation's progress. He highlighted the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and the ongoing vision of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, which prioritizes inclusive education and integration for People of Determination.
Sheikh Nahyan also connected the library's inauguration with the Year of the Community 2025 initiative, describing it as a space that fosters belonging and opportunity. He expressed appreciation for Mubadala Investment Group's support, underscoring their commitment to education and social responsibility.
Khaldoon Al Mubarak remarked on the significance of the library as a milestone in fostering knowledge and opportunity for all. He emphasized Mubadala's belief in empowering youth as fundamental to building a more inclusive future, noting the library as a gateway to inspiration and personal growth.
The Inclusive Library, developed over more than a year with Mubadala's support, will be managed by students, providing them with leadership opportunities. Following the inauguration, dignitaries toured the library and attended a student art exhibition, praising the creativity and talent displayed.
Mohammed Abdul Jalil Al Fahim commented on the library as a symbol of hope and inclusion, reflecting the achievements possible through community and commitment. He expressed gratitude to Mubadala and all involved in realizing the project.
