The German army (Bundeswehr) said that NATO tactical air force military exercises began on Monday at a German airbase with the participation of 11 NATO countries in addition to Austria and Switzerland. The German army said in a statement that the exercises are called "Tiger Meet" and are taking place in the northern German state of Schleswig-Holstein. It added that around 60 fighter jets and 1,100 soldiers would participate in the exercises. The exercise aims to intensify cooperation with partner nations and share aeronautical and technical expertise, said the German army.
