Oil prices rose more than 2% in early trading on monday: Brent crude futures rose $2.22, or 2.52%, to $90.32 a barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude stood at $85.41 a barrel, up $2.01, or 2.41%.
According to Emirates News Agency, oil prices remain supported by concerns over Middle East supply disruptions and uncertainty surrounding crude flows through the Strait of Hormuz.
